Research Interests:
Dr. Sirovich is a general internist whose research focuses on clinical practice intensity - the tendency of clinicians to order tests, referrals, and treatments for patients. Her work has focused on cancer screening, examining who is being screened, how often, and the downstream consequences of testing. She is currently investigating physician and patient attitudes in an effort to explain wide variations in practice intensity.
