Research Interests
Dr. Lucas is an adult medicine hospitalist with two overlapping research interests. First is how point of care ultrasonography impacts patient care. Second is the methodology and analysis of complex interventions. Dr. Lucas applied both interests to the only randomized controlled trial comparing care directed by point of care ultrasound versus usual care by hospitalists.
